Terms
Your Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covers the quality of our labor and installation — not the materials themselves, which are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. This warranty is non-transferable and remains in effect for as long as you own your home.
What's covered?
Workmanship defects, including improper fabrication or installation. Material defects may be covered separately under the manufacturer's warranty — ask us for details specific to your project.
What's not covered?
Natural aging of wood, including cupping, warping, checking, knot holes, twisting, and splitting. Characteristics permitted by the selected grade of wood, such as knots, holes, wane, and splits. Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, unusual physical stress, or modifications to the product, including using fencing or structures to retain soil. Damage caused by shifting soil or terrain conditions. Soil or other materials stacked against the structure. Items excluded from the manufacturer's warranty. Work performed by other trades or contractors. Damage from lightning, high winds with peak gusts of 55 mph or greater, or other natural disasters.
A note on materials
Wood and other natural materials will change in appearance, dimension, and shape over time due to aging and exposure to the elements. This is normal and not considered a defect.
